I always wanted to be muscular like the wrestlers I watched and admired on TV. For me it wasn’t Arnold, it was the Ultimate Warrior. I didn’t even know what bodybuilding was until I really started getting serious with training. My friend Colin Keeping poured gas on the fire so to speak. At 17 I started bodybuilding and never looked back.
I’d say it started off from fear of inadaquecy, as with most teenagers who struggle with insecurities and finding themselves. Bodybuilding has freed me of my insecurities and developed into my passion. When something is your passion, finding motivation is not necessary, it is always there….and I want to be the best!
I don’t count sets or reps anymore, muscles can’t count, they only respond/grow when they are taken to failure and beyond. I use heavy weight without sacrificing form. Now, I said I don’t count reps but I do keep my rep range between 6-15 and sometimes 20 depending on the muscle group. I do this by the amount of weight I use…but I don‘t set a certain rep target to hit, I just go to failure and if I do more reps than my set range I will increase the weight for the next set.
Monday- Legs (Quads, Hams & Calves)

Thursday- Back & Bis
Friday- Shoulders & Calves
Saturday- Arms (Tris, Bis & Forearms)
Hahaha, well I am lactose intolerant and I have egg and gluten allergies. I eat a lot of red meat and salmon, once or twice a week I will choke down chicken and tuna. Pork and turkey are rare but I eat those as well. For carbs it is mostly rice and fruit, sometimes quinoia or potatoes. Fats come from, olive oil, coconut oil, avacado, nuts, meat and I also eat green veggies.
I stay lean, not by choice. It just seems like no matter how much I eat I don’t get too fat. My metabolism just speeds up. It’s great for dieting but makes gaining weight hard.
Omega 3, Milk Thistle/LivCare, Glucosamine/Chondroitin/MSM, CoEnzyme Q10, Digestive Enzymes, Anabolic State (BCAA’s), Lactose free Protein Isolate, Hemotropin2XC, Creatine2XC When dieting I use: ThermalXTC and Carnibolic
Easy question: BENCH, SQUAT & DEADLIFT. These three will work the whole body and I also powerlift so they are my favorite exercises.
1.: Be consistent in Training & Nutrition.
2.: Don’t worry about the scale, use the mirror as your guide.
3.: Believe, Behave and Become.
I love my motorcycle (2009 Harley Crossbones), I enjoy hunting with my father (wild meat is the secret kids! ) and leather work but I haven’t had the time lately.
